• Set a date. Talk with your family and fiancee about the kind of wedding and reception you would like; time of day, formality and mood.
• Reserve a place to be married and decide on a location for the reception.
• Shop for your wedding gown. The Bridal Boutique has more than 250 gowns in stock for you to try-on and a reputation for personal service.
• Shop for gowns for your attendants. If they live far away, ask them for their measurements and sizes.
• Choose a cater and a menu, select a florist and musicians or D.J. for the ceremony and reception.
• Interview photographers or videographers.
• Register your gift preferences at a department store.

• Make sure groom has selected wedding attire for himself and his groomsmen. The Bridal Boutique not only sells wedding gowns, it rents quality tuxedos.
• Discuss your chosen color scheme your mother and your fiancee's mother so that they can choose their gowns.
• Finalize your guest list and order invitations.
• Order the wedding cake.

• Arrange fittings for yourself and your attendants.
• Choose a honeymoon destination.
• Shop for wedding rings.

• Get any accessories you need to compete your bridal attire: shoes, jewelry, hosiery. Bring them with you to the final fitting.
• Have your wedding portrait taken. (Some brides arrange to have this done at their final fitting.)

• Try on your wedding gown to check the fit and make sure it is properly pressed.
• Make sure your attendants have their dresses and headpieces and that they have tried them on.
